A local artist that I met recently known as Abstraktrt has an excellent blog/art gallery here. Check out his work; he's great! Tom Johnson, one of the finest writers of pulp fact-and-fiction alive today! I'm still upset that he's no longer publishing FADING SHADOWS or his group of great magazines, but I'm more than thrilled that we collaborated on a story in his MASKS AND MAYHEM #2, about the mysterious Shadowhawke. Definitely check out his site and see what wonders are coming soon! Charlotte Babb is a teacher, a writer and a friend. Visit her blog, with tons of wonderful information for writers, at www.wiseauthor.com Keith Howell is an amazing artist and writer. And if that's not enough to quench your thirst for all things pulp, then go to Jack Suto's The Vintage Library for more. Doc Savage was one of my first loves, and Mark O. Lambert has a great biography available of Lester Dent, Doc's dad and chief writer. Check out the book at Mark's Hidalgo Publishing Company and see if you're not dazzled. Marvel geek? Who isn't? Writer Barry Reese has contributed to the OFFICIAL HANDBOOK OF THE MARVEL UNIVERSE. Buy it at Amazon; buy it now. And speaking of Marvel, who among us does not love the ever-changing roster of THE AVENGERS? Van Plexico is the driving force behind the website AvengersAssemble.net In addition, Van edited the amazing ASSEMBLED! FIVE DECADES OF EARTH'S MIGHTIEST! Love pulp? I do, ever since I ran across Doc Savage as a mere child (I was the child, not Doc, natch!). So visit Duane Spurlock at his amazing site, THE PULP RACK and feel the love. Artists simply amaze me, since I have no artistic talent at all. Check out the amazing Bobby Nash and learn what a real artist is. And speaking of artists, don't forget to visit Nick Neocleous and marvel at his talent, especially his Doctor Who art.
